Disney’s New Riviera Resort

Disney’s new Riviera Resort, a Disney Vacation Club property, is now open to guests!

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to visit Disney’s Riviera Resort to get a sneak peek at the magic. My family is traveling to the World later this month, and I was so impressed with the Riviera Resort that I considered changing our reservations.

Disney’s Riviera Resort combines the old world style of one of Walt and Lillian Disney’s European vacations with a modern flair. There are beautiful commissioned works of art and black and white photographs of the Disneys’ travels around every corner. The guest rooms are stunning, with grand villas that can accommodate an entire extended family easily.

But you know me – I love the fun details, the vacation amenities, and convenience.

I got my first look at the new resort while riding in the new Disney Skyliner.

Disney’s Riviera is connected to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios parks as well as Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Caribbean Beach Resort via the Skyliner. You can go directly from the Riviera Resort to Epcot with no stops. That, my friends, is convenient!

Other Disney’s Riviera Resort highlights include:

*Resort specific variations on four classic characters: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. This is a first for a Disney resort property! Come to Riviera Resort to meet painter Mickey, poet Minnie, dancer Daisy, and sculptor Donald.

*Views of both Disney’s Hollywood Studios fireworks AND Epcot fireworks from the absolutely stunning rooftop restaurant and bar, Topolino’s Terrace.

*Gorgeous interiors that represent a blend of classic European culture and modern flare, all featuring a Mediterranean inspired color palette.

*Two beautiful pools looking out onto Barefoot Bay and across to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

*Quick service dining with elevated options, including cooked the way you like it steak.

You can learn more and book now at Walt Disney World online.

Love another great option that feels more like home. Although we go and like to spend as much time as possible in the parks and adventures, we love being able to come back and just be comfortable. Since this is more of a home feel, than a hotel, this fits the bill for my crew!
