While in Tanzania with Compassion International, I met my newest sponsored child, Meke. I would love for you to see just a glimpse of my time with Meke, including the time I had to show her pictures of my life here in the United States, the things that are the same – rolling hills of farmland – and the things that are so very different – my large house, my fat cat, my kids bundled up and playing in two feet of snow. Please join me in Tanzania…

I don’t think I’ve told you yet but I am so proud of you doing this!! xoxo
Oh Chele!! Thank you 🙂
I loved the video, Amy. I especially enjoyed watching the children brushing your hair — how different your hair must have felt to them since it’s straight & silky. I also enjoyed hearing you describe your life (children, home, etc.) as the footage of their life played on my screen. Their life may be different than yours, and yet at the same time it’s identical (they love of their children, their home, their community, etc.). It’s truly a small world, isn’t it?
