Trail’s End Healthy Snacking, Healthy Communities Twitter Party

According to the USDA, 56% of Americans say they eat snacks three or more times daily. Healthy between-meal snacks not only benefit your body – healthy snacking can help promote healthy communities!

For nearly 30 years, Trail’s End has been in partnership with the Boy Scouts of America, providing delicious snacks, including microwave popcorn. This fall, Scouts will be selling improved, healthier Trail’s End Microwave Popcorn, featuring Omega-9 Canola Oil. The new popcorn has zero trans fat, significantly reduced saturated fat and is uniquely high in heart-healthy monounsaturated (omega-9) fat.

Beyond being delicious and healthy, Trail’s End popcorn directly supports healthy communities. Scouts and their Leaders contribute millions of hours each year to community service projects and Trail’s End popcorn programs helps the Scouts pay for the activities they do, the camps they attend, and the equipment they need.

Each Scout, along with his family, is responsible for raising money for his pack or troop. But, it’s our job to make sure the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts feel good about what they sell.

Join us for a Twitter Party to further discuss how healthy snacking benefits our bodies, Scouting and our local communities. You’ll have fun, learn something and also have the chance to win some savory prizes. We’ll be giving away signature snack packages from our Cheese Lovers, Chocolate Lovers and Sweet & Savory Collections during the hour-long party!
