This clever guy can move, talk, and even “stand up” to interact with your child. He was a favorite of mine!
Candy Land Sweet Celebration Game: Hasbro; ages 4 and up; approximate retail price – $29.99
It’s every parents’ dream – a Candy Land game that can be lengthened…or shortened to meet your needs at the time. It’s great!

For those of you who want the pet without the fur, these little guys have complete habitats and fun accessories without the sound of a squeaky wheel in the middle of the night.

My son is not old enough yet to play with the Bakugan series, but apparently this is a favorite of little boys everywhere.

Dora is all grown up! Well, she’s a tween, anyway. I was very impressed with how beautifully Dora was transformed from a little girl to a young lady.

I used to play with the original Transformers, so to me, this guy was great!
Battle Strikers: MEGA brand; ages 6 years and up; approximate retail price – $9.99 to $34.99
This game takes the basic idea of battling tops and moves it into the 21st century. If it appears under your child’s tree Christmas morning, be prepared for the husbands to disappear and battle for hours!

This will be my son’s first holiday receiving bigger boy Legos, and I’m sure that the Star Wars line will be in the near future for him. This whole line was great.
