Summer Fun with Disney

With the kids home for the summer, it’s time to turn to Disney for some mousetastic summer fun.  Through August 26th, kids can unlock weekly treasures by counting gold doubloons that will appear throughout the Disney Junior programming block on Disney Channel! Parents and kids can enter the number of doubloons they counted by visiting www.DisneyJunior.com/Summer and unlock new episode previews, games, and activities.  Also, every Friday beginning at 9 a.m. ET Disney Junior will premiere a new episode of a favorite Disney Junior series on-air and online!

Need craft ideas this summer? You can also download gold doubloons for your kids to decorate, then photograph your child with their doubloons to upload to the Disney Junior site. Viewer images may be used on-air during the Disney Junior programming block!

Speaking of Disney crafts, Disney FamilyFun magazine is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a June/July combination issue kicking off the “Badges of Fun” campaign encouraging families to spend more time together through hands-on activities! Each month starting with the June/July combo issue, families can earn monthly badges by completing suggested, themed activities.  You can then enter to win fun prizes for completing the badges.  Want a fun way to track your family’s progress?  You can visit the Disney FamilyFun Badges of Fun site to print a custom display poster that takes you through the entire year-long program.  You an also visit FamilyFun on Facebook and Twitter.
