Staples for Students and Lady Gaga Teaming Up for Back to School Success

There are many factors that are necessary for kids to succeed in school. From proper supplies and learning materials, to a positive, supportive learning environment, each child deserves the very best to help them achieve their potential.

While we’ve all been busy shopping for new clothes and filling school supply lists for Back-to-School season, teachers everywhere have been preparing their classrooms and developing lesson plans to help our children learn and grow. They work hard, often spending money out of their own pocket, to ensure that our children have access to everything that they need to have a successful school year.

Staples has teamed up with Lady Gaga and her Born This Way Foundation, as well as DonorsChoose.org, for this year’s Staples for Students program, helping to create a positive classroom experience and support students and teachers.

Born This Way Foundation was founded by Lady Gaga and her mother to support and empower young people and create an environment of kindness and emotional well-being that helps them to become successful, happy adults. In partnership with Staples for Students, they hope to promote kindness and acceptance in the classroom, creating a better learning environment for all students.

DonorsChoose.org is an amazing organization that helps teachers find the funding they need to outfit their classrooms with the necessary supplies and materials to give students a solid education. Those who give to teachers through DonorsChoose.org can hand select the classroom projects that they would like to support.

With $1 million dollar donations to both the Born This Way Foundation and to DonorsChoose.org, the Staples for Students program hopes to help foster kindness in the classroom and assist students and teachers in obtaining the tools and resources they need for success.
