Meet Milkshake and Me!
This Saturday, May 2nd, the fabulous children’s band Milkshake will be performing at Baltimore’s historic Lyric Opera House. You may know Milkshake from their performances and videos on PBS Kids, Noggin, and Discovery Kids. We first heard their music while watching Jack’s Big Music Show on Noggin.
The show will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the juggling children’s comedian, Hilby. Dumbarton Middle School’s “Radical Ropers” jump rope team will also join Milkshake onstage during a song! “Moo” the Milkshake mascot will also be present handing out chocolates and hugs.
If you are attending this Saturday’s show at the Lyric, let me know in the comments and you’ll be able to go backstage and meet the band….and me! Families attending are also encouraged to bring a new or gently used book to contribute to Baltimore Reads’ annual Book for Kids Day. Donations are tax deductible.
