Magical Moments at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration
I just returned from four days in Orlando for the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, an event that I am very honored to help organize, and while there are amazing take-aways that I want to share this week for Disney fans, social media fans, and businesswomen like myself, I have to just start by highlighting some incredibly magical moments from the event.
A tooth lost at the Grand Floridian…
A vow renewal at the Disney Wedding Chapel along the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon…
A bright and delicious candy buffet that brought out the child in each of us…
A sunset party on the beach with magical Disney moons joining the super moon in the night sky…
A stunning setting for a powerful day of learning…
Susan Egan, the voice of Meg in Hercules and the original Belle on Broadway singing along with her animated character…
Mickey standing in for the Tooth Fairy…
My kids dancing in a mini-mosh pit with Special Agent Oso…
The sun rising behind Expedition Everest…
Watching the world begin with a big bang at IllumiNations with my best friend’s son in my lap, his eyes wide with amazement…
Ending a magical weekend with a favorite indulgence in the hot, Florida sun…
Disclaimer: As an organizer of this event, many costs of the trip for myself and my family were covered. All opinions expressed on this blog are my own.
Looks like you had a magical time! We were at Disney World this weekend too for a mini family vacation. I’d love to get in on this fun next year.
OMGosh, Mickey stands in for the tooth fairy! That’s awesome! My son lost a tooth at Disney this weekend, too! Wish I would’ve known, I’m the worst tooth fairy EVER! LOL
So wished we would’ve spent more time together. You’ve met my family, I didn’t get to meet yours! 🙁 Soon, though, okay?
Thank you so much for helping to coordinate this awesome experience. Seriously, we’re all SO tired from doing SO much, but it was SO SO worth it. Would do it again in a heartbeat <3
I am sure you are exhausted, but that looked like soooo much fun. Next year!!!
Wow. Losing a tooth at WDW. Did Tinkerbell sub for the Tooth Fairy?
What a magical looking weekend – Mommy loves Disney and can’t wait till I’m old enough to plan a trip!
Definitely some magical moments! Love how Mickey stood in for the tooth fairy, too cute… & it doesn’t get much better than watching Disney fireworks with the people you love!!
It was great seeing you again! I love that photo from the conference of the center piece and stage. I had a great time. Don’t forget to keep practicing your dancing for when the time comes for me to get married. I expect you to be a bride’s maid dancing down the isle just like we witnessed, Disney style and all. 😉
I can’t get over that candy buffet!
It was just so amazing and I was honored to be a part of it.
Any trip to Disney is magical and unforgetable but SMMoms has a way of making it especially memorable! Looking forward to hearing more about your trip and so happy your children had a wonderful time.
