The truth: This game really is adorable and fun for kids. My daughter is nearly six and loves the idea of playing video games, but we have worked very hard to shelter her from many of the mature graphics and themes that you might find in popular video games. The first Wii game that we purchased for our kids was a Dora game, which we enjoy and play often, so I gladly said yes when the offer came to review the Little Pet Shop Friends Wii game. She already plays with the Littlest Pet Shop line of toys, so like the Dora game, this was a great introduction into Wii games beyond the Wii Fit activities we’ve allowed our kids to try. What I love is that my children can play together or with a friend, so there’s no battle about whose turn it is to play. It’s also nice that there are mini-games so that play does not creep over the allowed screen time for the day.
