LeapFrog Is Expecting a New Arrival!

My children love their LeapFrog products. From Farmer Tad fridge magnets in the kitchen to the LeapFrog Tag Reader and its accompanying books, well, everywhere in the house, we are a family who enjoys the idea that a family who plays together, learns together.

I didn’t start out this way. Once upon a time I was firmly against electronic toys. My children would learn their letters with wooden blocks and cardboard flash cards. They would learn to read with workbooks and markers. But somewhere around my oldest child’s second birthday I realized the error of my ways and the importance of including the right kind of electronic educational toy in my repertoire of tricks. We’ve been a LeapFrog family ever since.

Now imagine my excitement when I learned that there will be a new arrival to the LeapFrog Tag line of reading products!

The adorable LeapFrog Tag Junior book pal is set to arrive in stores this summer and is designed for children 2 to 4. I am anxiously awaiting it’s arrival because while my two and a half year old son loves my daughter’s Tag and growing Tag library, his little fingers and short patience are not quite right for the product. The Tag Junior, a toddler-sized “book explorer” is powered by the same technology that drives the Tag Reader, only it’s cute, chubby body is much easier for younger children to manipulate. With adorable and sturdy board books such as The Backyardigans: Opposites and Curious George: Color Fun, Tag Junior will once again be a fabulous LeapFrog way to sneak a little bit of fun learning into my child’s day. I can’t wait for Junior’s arrival!
