Join the 1 Million Reading Hours Campaign and Win a Tag Reader from LeapFrog

March is the NEA’s National Reading Month, and LeapFrog has launched the 1 Million Reading Hours to encourage all families to take the time out of their busy schedules to read together!

I have taken the pledge to set aside 10 minutes a day to read with my children. In fact, I’m setting aside 10 minutes per child, which means that books will be read for at least 20 minutes a day in my home this month.

Each one of us who commits to reading with our families helps us all reach the national goal of 1 million reading hours committed. Of course the most important thing is that you’ll be reading to your children, helping start them on the early path to literacy. Also, when you pledge to read 10 minutes a day to your children, you will be able to print out valuable Tag Reader coupons!

To help promote literacy and spread the word about the LeapFrog 1 Million Reading Hours Campaign, I will be giving away one green Tag Reader plus 5 books to one reader who takes the pledge. The winner will also receive one expanded memory LeapFrog School Tag Reader plus 10 books to donate to their local library!

To Enter:

1. Take the pledge by signing up at http://leapfrog.com/readingmonth

2. Leave a comment on this post telling me how much time you pledged to read with your family!

This contest is open to all U.S. residents. The contest ends March 31st at 11:59 p.m. EST.
