Playmation Marvel's Avengers Starter Pack - oop

With eight and nine-year-old boys to shop for, Christmas can be a bit of a challenge. Much of their Christmas list is video games and other electronic entertainment that doesn’t leave much to the imagination. I look high and low for things that will keep them entertained while letting them still enjoy pretending and role play.

Disney’s Marvel Avengers Playmation Starter Pack would make a great gift to find under the tree this year to help keep young minds active! It’s recommended for ages six and up, and believe me, the up extends to adults. My husband has been fighting for his turn, too!

My boys have had a great time completing the missions that J.A.R.V.I.S. has sent them on, getting right into the role as superheroes and letting their imaginations run wild. Playmation uses motion sensors and lasers to let your children have an active part in the game.

Strap on the Repulsor Gear and power up the Power Activators, then let the games begin! The Repulsor Gear will give you easy to follow instructions as you battle villains! The starter kit comes with 25 missions featuring included Captain America and Iron Skull figures, plus there are other expansions available with more Marvel characters. You can also use the free AvengersNet app for more missions or just enjoy free play!

Make sure you have all the breakables in a safe place when the kids are playing the game. Mine have been running, diving, rolling, and getting right into character as they’ve played through the missions, so take care that there’s nothing around that can be broken or that can hurt them.

Overall, we love this game! I’ll definitely  be picking up some expansions so that the kids can keep enjoying new adventures!

Word of advice – have plenty of AA batteries on hand! The starter kit requires 12 of them, but the fun is well worth it!
