Highlights State of the Kid Survey

I am honored to announce that for the third year I have been included in the Highlights’ State of the Kid survey, and this year I will be speaking the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. as part of Highlights magazine’s press conference to announce the survey results.  This year’s survey gave children from across the country the opportunity to share their views on bullying, their parents and gender roles.  Every year Highlights magazine, which reaches the homes of more than two million children each month, receives over 55,000 letters and emails from kids.  The Highlights SOTK survey is a way to give kids a national platform to share their thoughts, concerns, and experiences.
