Halloween is just around the corner! It’s time to start planning for the fun of this festive season. People everywhere are choosing costumes, planning parties, and strategizing the best trick-or-treat routes in their neighborhood. One of my favorite things about this season are the special treats that are only available this time of year. We love to plan a fun meal before we head out to collect our treats on Halloween, complete with a special dessert. We’re more than ready for the spooky flavors of the season at our house.

One of these awesome Halloween inspired flavors is TruMoo Limited Edition Orange Scream Milk. With the nostalgic flavor of orange and vanilla ice cream popsicles, this is truly a tasty treat, made with low-fat white milk and contains no high fructose corn syrup or artificial growth hormones. The creamy orange flavor makes a perfect pairing with many of your favorite fall holiday treats!

Besides adding TruMoo Orange Scream as a beverage accompaniment to your favorite Halloween snacks, there are lots of ways to incorporate the delicious orange cream flavor into your favorite recipes! Here’s a quick and easy dessert idea featuring that delicious Orange Scream Flavor:

TruMoo Orange Scream Layered Pie

  • 1 pkg ( oz) instant vanilla pudding and pie filling
  • TruMoo Orange Scream milk
  • 1 container whipped topping (thawed)
  • 1 prepackaged graham cracker crust

Prepare instant vanilla pudding per package directions for pie filling, substituting TruMoo Orange Scream milk for plain milk as directed. Once set, spoon half of the filling into the prepackaged pie crust. Fold 1 cup of whipped topping into remaining filling and spread into the crust. Layer on the remaining whipped topping and chill at least 3 hours. Serve and enjoy!
