Festive Fridays: Holiday Lights Night

Festive Friday lights

One of our favorite traditions of the season is going out to visit our local holiday lights display. There’s something magical about twinkling lights and holiday music that just boosts my Christmas spirit.

Many communities have some sort of lights display and even in rural areas, driving around quiet backroads to see how residents have decorated their homes is a great time for everyone. Depending on your area, be on the lookout for neighborhoods with drive-through displays, holiday lights trails, and other beautiful outdoor displays to enjoy.

Grab your friends and family and experience the creativity and beauty of the holiday season! You may want to consider going on weeknights when crowds tend to be lower.

Bundle up and pile in a few minivans or if you’ve got budget to spend, rent a party bus and all ride together!

Blast some favorite holiday tunes and sing along! Everyone will get in the holiday spirit!

After you’ve enjoyed the lights together, host a little warm-up reception and enjoy warm drinks and hot soup to take off the chill.
