Family Game Time Fun with #PlayLikeHasbro

Family game time is a staple around our home. Whether it’s a sunny Sunday afternoon on the porch or a cool, rainy evening in the living room, spending time with a great game always helps our family connect and enjoy one another. It helps that we’re a little competitive, too!

Hasbro has allowed us to take our family game time to a whole new level with fun games like CATCH PHRAZE Blitz for Chromecast! Whether there are 4 or 24 people hanging out at your house, everyone can get in on the guessing game fun!

The game is played just like classic CATCH PHRASE, but with one little twist. Your phrases are displayed on the TV screen via Chromecast and your devices are used to score and keep the game rolling. It’s loads of fun and if your kids are like mine, any chance to get their hands on a smartphone or tablet is an extra special treat!

It’s important to note that some of the phrases might be a little tough for younger kids.  We found that the game went a little easier when we paired the children up with an adult, rather than parents vs kids.

We can’t wait for the next time we have a bunch of friends over, so we can show off our Catch Phrase guessing skills.

We also got the chance to try out Scrabble Twist, which has now taken up residence in my car. This is the first handheld Scrabble game and a wonderfully sneaky way to give your kids a little spelling and vocabulary practice.

With Scrabble Twist, you’re given five letters to make a word. Tap the letters to spell out the word you want, then twist the device and pass to the next player. This game can even be played alone, which is fabulous for keeping children occupied in the car.

We definitely recommend both of these great games! They’re sure to be a fun addition to your family game arsenal!
