When I began this blog I made a promise to my readers to be resourceful. The name of the blog defines its purpose, and while introducing important information, helpful products, and tricky tips falls under the resourceful umbrella, I thought it was time to get down to the nitty gritty and see some real change in people’s lives as a result of hanging out here at Resourceful Mommy.
There was a time in my life when I thought my entire career would revolve around helping people change. A mostly unknown fact about me is that I have a Master’s in Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania and spent some time using cognitive-behavioral therapy to improve the day to day for some troubled people. Life led me in other directions, and I never returned to providing therapy, but I’ve held on to the belief that people can create dramatic changes in their own lives with simple steps and thoughts.
Over the next year, I am going to challenge myself to devote 30 Days of Change to specific areas of my life. Each step I choose to take, I will share with you here.
I invite you to join me on this journey!
If you choose to come aboard, don’t feel obligated to try every challenge, and don’t quit if you get off track. I’m not promising success on my part or even that the challenges will provide thirty consecutive days of ideas each time. I am just asking that we all support one another and try our best to improve our lives and the lives of those around us. If you blog and want to track your progress, I’ll be posting a place each challenge to share your links. Feel free to always join the conversation in the comments as well.
Will you go out on a limb with me this year? Will you participate in the 30 Days of Change Challenges?
