As parents, one of our biggest responsibilities is to help our children achieve the best future possible. Saving for college is an important part of that responsibility, but creating a plan to set aside funds for our children’s education can sometimes be a tough road to navigate. What’s a 529 plan? How much do I need to save? When should I start saving? Is it too late to start a savings plan? These are just a few of the questions that parents are faced with when planning for their children’s higher education.
