St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and even if you have the luck of the Irish, it is never safe to drive buzzed. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ad Council are reminding everyone that the best way to keep your family and yourself safe is to plan ahead and designate a sober driver before heading out for the night, and spread the word to others about the importance of planning ahead. After all, even if you will not be enjoying an alcoholic beverage at your local Irish pub, you’ll be sharing the road with those who have. And the bottom line is that buzzed driving is drunk driving.
