Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure

Two years ago I blogged about Disney’s Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure, our family’s absolute favorite attraction at EPCOT.  What began as something that I was sure my family would not like turned into a bit of an obsession, at least to my son.  Suddenly we were finding old Kim Possible episodes on DVD and I found myself leaving hidden clues around the house, encouraging the kids to fight the evil forces of Drakken.

While our love for the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure hasn’t waned, the kids’ interest in the show has.  They’ve since fallen in love with Phineas and Ferb, and I have to admit…I like the show just as much as they do.  We’re fairly sure that our cat, Tigger, is actually special agent Agent T, and we occasionally blame random acts of ick on Dr. Doofenshmirtz and his “-inators.”  That week last year when we had an earthquake, a tornado, and a hurricane in the same week?  Fairly sure that was his fault.

A few months ago I began to hear rumors in the Disney rumor mill that the Kim Possible attraction was going to receive a Phineas and Ferb makeover.  I shared the news with the kids, and we’ve been giddily waiting to find out if the rumors were true.

I’m happy to share that they were.  Starting this summer, Disney’s Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure will become Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure.

Park guests will, just like Perry the Platypus, transform into secret agents to help defeat the villainous Dr. Doofenshmirtz.  Using a device, which I am guessing will be very similar to the cell phones used in the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure, guests will solve clues in the following World Showcase Pavilions: Mexico, France, Japan, China, the U.K., Norway, and Germany.

The secret agents in my house could not be any more excited.  We think this is a fantastic way to spend some of the 104 days of summer vacation… See you there?

    my son loves agent p

  • I have no doubt that my Phineas and Ferb crazed boys will adore this. They liked the Kim Possible, but it just did not mean much to them. I think Agent P will help to spice things up a lot and keep new fans wandering around new spaces and places in Epcot.
