Yesterday I was searching through old files to find an image for a different post and stumbled across this. For some reason my mom and her family were riding on a float in a Memorial Day or Fourth of July parade. I love how it captures American life in the 50’s and how beautiful my grandmother looks. And dig my tween mom’s foxy red lipstick. This would have been a handy picture to have during my junior high years…
