Ragu has been a staple in my meal planning since I moved out on my own for the first time after college, and we continue to use Ragu in our meals at least once a week. The ease of using Ragu in our recipes has made it possible to try new, healthier recipes without drastically altering our dinnertime routine. Without any fanfare, Ragu has decreased the amount of sodium in their sauces and also now offers sauce with two full servings of veggies – perfect for my family.
Our two favorite new recipes are Roasted Ratatouille Wraps and Ragu® No Frying Chicken Parmesan. Both recipes are quick and easy, which is exactly what we need as we transition quickly from homework and piano practice into mealtime. I had the chance to try the Roasted Ratatouille Wraps while visiting the Unilever test kitchens as a Moms the Word on Dinner Ambassador and I knew immediately that they’d work in my home. My kids are not huge veggie fans, but the wraps make veggies fun. Bonus? They love the word Ratatouille thanks to a favorite movie. Score! As for the chicken parm, that is one of my husband’s favorite meals, but frying chicken is not in my schedule or on my healthy-eating radar. He actually makes this recipe for our family because it is quick, easy, and just as delicious as the fried version.
Be sure to check out both the Roasted Ratatouille Wraps and the Ragu No Frying Chicken Parmesan.
