My daughter and her best friend, who happens to be Jewish, have been having discussions about religion for several months. All of this culminated in my daughter asking if we could celebrate Hanukkah this year. We are a Christian family so we compromised and decided to try out different aspects of the Hanukkah celebration. Tonight was Project Latke. So far, our first Hanukkah is delicious.
