Winging It Tailgate Traditions with Tyson

This post is sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

When it comes to football and tailgating, we are a house divided. Michigan residents tend to bleed one of two colors, maize for UofM or green for MSU. The rivalry is strong in our family. We’ve spent many-a tailgate egging one another on as we root for our personal favorite team. Jesse and Owen are pure Michigan fans and love cheering on the Wolverines, while Carson and I are die hard Spartan fans, the obvious better choice.

Most Saturdays during the fall, you will find us shuffling from one sporting event to another, between Owen’s cross country meets and Carson’s fall baseball games. We fit in our tailgating when we can, and are sure to tune into a football game at some point throughout the day.

Aside from the game, our favorite tailgate tradition is eating tasty appetizers and finger foods. Since our weekends are so busy, tailgating as a family needs to be fast and simple. By the time we make it to the couch for the big game we are all tired, ready to relax, watch the game, and eat some grub.

Whether we head to our favorite local sports bar for their pizza and appetizer special, or we cook something up at home, one thing we can all agree on is chicken wings. Tyson Any’tizers Buffalo Syle Bone-In Chicken Wings make cooking up a batch of chicken wings fast and delicious. But, just in case our sauce preferences reflect those of our team differences, there are a number of flavors to choose from.

I love coming home, pulling out a bag of Tyson® Any’tizers® Buffalo Style Bone-In Chicken Wings from the freezer, popping them in the oven, and in 20 minutes they are ready to eat. It simplifies my mom duties and allows me to spend more time with my family watching the game.

Tyson® Any’tizers® Buffalo Style Bone-In Chicken Wings are  made with white meat chicken in a variety of sauces. It is available for purchase at your local Walmart. Pick up a package for your next family tailgate!

What are your favorite tailgate traditions and what team do you cheer for?
