Together Counts Twitter Party
Our children are growing up in the digital age, their daily lives filled with sedentary activities from handheld gaming devices to computer time. Add to that the hours spent at school – many with decreased physical education and recess time – along with afternoons spent in the car shuttling from one activity to the next. Outdoor activity time is short. Meals and snacks are rushed. It can be incredibly challenging to find the time and inspiration to lead our children in a healthy lifestyle.
Together Counts is a nationwide program whose goal is to inspire active and healthy living. The principle behind this program is Energy Balance, which means balancing the calories we consume with the calories we burn. This first-of-its-kind coalition has brought together more than 195 retailers, food and beverage manufacturers, restaurants, sporting goods and insurance companies, trade associations and non-governmental organizations, and professional sports organizations to inspire families and provide resources for them.

Together Counts Child Nutrition Month Twitter Party
When: Tuesday, April 3rd from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET
