It doesn’t take much to convince me that it’s time to visit Walt Disney World. Last February during the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, I attended a press event about upcoming Disney events and changes to the parks and cruise line. One moment in the presentation that made me want to book my next vacation was the overview of “Summer Nightastic.” From June 6th through August 14th, Walt Disney World is inviting you to experience the magic in a whole new light.
Special events include:
- the return of Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade, this time with Tinker Belle at the helm
- new ride sequences and special effects in Hollywood Studios’ Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- the Sounds Like Summer concert series in EPCOT from June 12th through July 31st
- an all new Summer Nightastic! fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom
- the Rock ‘N Glow dance party where a DJ and live band keep the party going under Mickey’s sorcerer hat at Hollywood Studios
