Quaker Heart Health Twitter Party

Did you know that February is American Heart Month?

Heart disease runs on both sides of my family, affecting both the men and women in my life.  There are little things women can do each day to better take care of their hearts, including eating right. Choosing whole grain Quaker Oats as part of an overall diet that’s low in saturated fat and cholesterol is a quick and simple way to provide healthy fuel to help support a healthy heart.  For this reason, I am proud to announce that we are partnering with Quaker for a Heart Health Twitter Party.

Throughout American Heart Month, Quaker is teaming up with heart-throb chef and Top Chef Season 5 fan favorite, Fabio Viviani to energize and inspire women to take action for their hearts. In support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement, Quaker is inviting women to start their day with their Epic Hot Breakfast video to get women’s hearts racing – in a good way. From February 14th through February 28th, not only can you enjoy the inspiration from Chef Fabio’s video, but you can also enter to win Quaker’s Epic Hot Breakfast Twitter Sweepstakes by Tweeting the video with the #QuakerLove tag. You could win a trip for two to Chicago where you’ll enjoy dinner at Siena Tavern!  For details, see Official Rules at http://bit.ly/11H0zCq.

Please join us as we chat about heart health and the steps we take to keep ourselves and our family heart healthy. We’ll also have Fabio Viviani and Dr. Malissa J. Wood, MD, FACC and national physician spokesperson for the AHA’s Go Red For Women movement join us as special guests during the chat! I hope to see you at the…
