When I first began blogging in the summer of 2008, my husband bought me a huge laptop that I carried everywhere, took on vacations, lugged on flights to conferences. It was a monstrosity, and I honestly only used it for word processing and Internet access. Along came tablets and we purchased each new variation to be used for apps and to read ebooks, but something was still missing. My family really needed a crossover of sorts, a device that would bridge the gap between that old behemoth of a laptop and the tablets that made life easier.
The latest generation of such a crossover device is now available at Target stores across the country.
The Nextbook 10.1″ Quad Core Windows Tablet with keyboard is perfect for work, homework, streaming video, and games. At just under three pounds, this is a device that is easy for kids to handle and for adults to take along on travel. The Nextbook comes equipped with a Pogo keyboard and both a front and back camera, plus a micro-HDMI input so you can connect your Nextbook with your other devices.
The Nextbook is the perfect addition to our digital family because it can easily be used as a laptop with a keyboard or as a freestanding tablet. Because it is easy to take along on the go and meets multiple needs, the Nextbook has replaced more than one of our other devices making it an incredible value.
