It’s time I bear my sole to you. Yes, that pun was intended. You see, I have a shoe problem, and it’s not what you think. Unlike many women who spend insane amounts of money on shoes, here are the three pairs that I wear 99.9% of my days.
Sure, I’ve got dress shoes that I wear to meetings, blog conferences, and speaking engagements, but they serve a very different purpose than an every day shoe. When it comes to my day to day of running to and from bus stops and pre-schools, parks and playdates, I need a shoe that can keep up with me and not kill my feet. This is why I somewhat begrudgingly said yes to reviewing the Timberland PRO Series for women – if a shoe was created for health care workers who are on their feet day in and day out, then it might be perfect for moms.
It turns out…it is perfect for moms. Timeberland sent me a red pair of the Renova Professional Series Slip On’s shown here:
“The PRO Series is specifically designed to deliver anti-fatigue support and all-day comfort to those who make their living helping others. The Professional Series features Timberland PRO® Anti-Fatigue technology, a rocker profile, and an anatomically shaped oblique last for all-day comfort.
Features:
– Premium full-grain leathers and microsuede upper linings offer outstanding style and durability
– 3M Scotchguard™ protector provides stain resistance (yes, moms!)
– Heel-to-toe rocker sole reduces forefoot pressure and controls proper joint motion
– Anatomically shaped, oblique toe box allows forefoot to spread, reducing fatigue
Timberland PRO® Anti-Fatigue technology offers all-day standing support, foot and leg support and superior shock absorption
– SafeGrip™ slip-resistant outsole grips wet and dry surfaces
– Bi-Fit® Tridensity footbed combines cradled heel and arch support with a flexible forefoot
– Dryz® Intellitemp™ temperature-regulating footbed cover manages moisture next to the skin while killing odors and odor-causing bacteria”
Boy, that sure does beat those flip-flops I picked up at the discount store…
