Guilt Free Treats Twitter Party

All month long Atkinson Candy is re-introducing their beloved candies to the nation with a series of blog posts around the blogosphere. Kelly at Everyday Childhood shared her love/hate relationship with sugar free candy and the journey she is on with her daughter Allison who has Type 1 Diabetes.  Ken at Rock a Healthy Lifestyle suffers from a gluten intolerance and wrote about his enjoyment of Atkinson Candy, which is not only sugar free, but also gluten free. Later this month, Crystal at Simply Being Mommy will also be sharing her experience with Atkinson Candy’s Peanut Butter Bars, Chick-O-Stick, and Mint Twist candies.

I’m going to admit that I’ve developed a bit of an addiction to the Chick-O-Stick candies, which remind me of the candies my grandmother used to keep in her living room in a Depression Glass bowl. The combination of toasted coconut and peanut-butter is delicious, and while they aren’t calorie free, the sugar-free makes them a bit more guilt-free for me. Every now and then I will enjoy one or two and get that sweet treat I crave mid-day without throwing myself over the sugar and calorie cliff.

Now it is your turn to learn about and try Atkinson Candy!
