Go IRL This Valentine’s Day – Hallmark Twitter Party Monday

Remember that special feeling you had as a kid at Valentine’s Day? After your classroom party, you tore through your decorated shoebox, feverishly opening each Valentine to see which of your 20 BFFs gave you the cutest card, how much candy you got, or if the classroom cutie remembered you with a little something extra.

Today, the shoebox might be gone, but admit it — we all still get excited when we get a special Valentine’s Day card in our mailbox. Sometimes an e-mail, Tweet or IM just isn’t enough, and you want to connect in more meaningful ways with your family and friends IRL (in real life). During Hallmark’s “Going IRL – Easy Ways to Make Valentine’s Day Personal Again” Twitter party, we’ll introduce you to a new service that allows you to personalize your Valentine’s Day greetings while maintaining the ease and convenience of connecting online. With a click, you can go to Hallmark.com and add your touch to any Valentine’s Day greeting. Then, Hallmark will address, stamp and mail it for you! The Resourceful Family utilized this incredible service for holiday cards this year and managed to enjoy the ease of technology while staying on the “nice” list.

Join us on February 1 from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. EST with the hashtag #HallmarkMom to interact with Laurie Monsees (Editorial Creative Director), Megan Haave (Editorial Writer) and Maureen Dilger (Product Manager) of Hallmark Cards. They’ll share tips on how you can connect on a more unique and personal level with your family and friends — on Valentine’s Day, or any day. Laurie, Megan and Maureen will also take questions from the group on ways to help put your personal stamp on your greetings!

Hallmark wants to hear from you, too! Share those unforgettable Valentine’s Day moments with us during the party, because let’s face it – memories are part of what makes us smile and laugh during the season of Cupid.

Hallmark will be giving away $100 worth of personalized paper greetings at Hallmark.com AND a one-hour consultation with a Hallmark “Card Concierge” (a Hallmark writer who will help you with any card questions) to the participant with the best story! We also will ask four trivia questions and award each winner $25 worth of personalized paper greetings at Hallmark.com.

Psst. One more thing, Hallmark wants to give you all an early Valentine! Be sure to join us to hear about this special gift to everyone who attends.

RSVP – Let us know you”ll be joining us by RSVP’ing below. Hope to see you there!
