With less than three weeks until Christmas, Samaritan’s Purse is inviting us to give hope this Christmas. Please join us next week for a very special chat about keeping Christ in Christmas, teaching our children to serve with a giving heart and more.

The Samaritan’s Purse Gift Catalog offers 53 gifts that bring hope to hurting people around the world in Jesus’ Name. A household water filter can save a family from deadly waterborne diseases. You can feed a hungry baby for a week, or provide livestock and farming supplies for a community.  Samaritan’s Purse ministries include international disaster relief, feeding and nutrition programs, animals (chickens, goats, livestock, etc) and agriculture, medical missions, “Turn on the Tap” clean water programs, and more.

Each week until New Year’s Eve, Samaritan’s Purse will feature a different item from the catalog on their website and social media sites (schedule below). This week, their goal is to provide clean water to 200 families through the social media community. Please prayerfully consider sharing one or more of these gifts with your online community.

December 7-13 Goal: $3,000 for clean water. Together, your gifts help provide 200 suffering families with safe water.

December 14-20 Goal: $4,200 Baby Chicks. Together, your gifts help give 3,600 chickens to poor farmers.

December 27-28 48-Hour Goal: $1,000 for Human Trafficking/Exploitation. Together, your gifts help rescue 10 at-risk women and children.

December 29-31 3-Day Goal: $6,600 for Children’s Heart Project. Together, your gifts help bless 3 children with heart-saving surgery.
