Friday Featured Giveaway and Linky: PicPocket Books

Thanks to the wonders of technology, this post did not publish as scheduled.  So welcome to Friday Featured Giveaway…on Saturday!

This week’s Friday Featured Giveaway is provided by PicPocket Books, a Huggies MomInspired Winner!

PicPocket books make it possible for kids to read their favorite children’s books on iPhones and iPads.  PicPocket Books creates an experience for toddlers and preschoolers which maintains the qualities of traditional books while increasing the level of interest and the opportunity for learning – through interactivity, fun and play.

PicPocket Books offers parents and their kids an alternative to flashy, and sometimes violent, fast-paced video games. Their bookapps have some simple animations and/or interactive hot spots to encourage exploration and engagement. Overall, they strive to remain quite faithful to the original books with their  apps. They champion books and reading aloud to kids, and see bookapps as supplements, not replacements, for print books and the valuable time parents can spend reading with their kids. If having kids books available on your iPhone means more exposure to stories and enthusiasm for reading for kids, then they consider that a success!

Two (2) Resourceful Mommy readers will each receive five free apps (ARV: $15) to be used on iPhone/ipod touch or iPad.

This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada age 18 years or older and ends Friday, March 4th at 11:59 p.m. ET.
