  • My favorite memory was playing with all of my Mom’s Barbie stuff at Grandma’s house!! My Grandma saved all of it so that when we would come visit, we would have something to play with. We had a Barbie Camper – but it was Orange and probably from the 70s (that would have been my Aunt’s, not Mom’s).

I remember playing “Three’s Company” with my Ken doll, a brunette Barbie and a blonde Barbie. LOL!

  • Cheryl

My favorite memory was when I got the barbie townhouse with the elevator – I remember being in total awe of that gift!

  • My favorite memory was when we bought my 2 daughters a Barbie dream house. They spent hours playing with it, lost in their own world.

  • I LOVE that the Barbie camper is back! My cousin and I used to play with it all the time. We spent our summers together, and traded Barbies all the time. As I recall, I traded my airplane for the camper! How I miss hanging with my cousin nowadays.

  • Sarah S

i loved dressing up barbies with my sister. we had so much fun changing their outfits!

  • Auddy

My favorite memory with Barbie was when my parents bought the dream house for my sister and I for Christmas. I thought I had died and gone to heaven, I was so excited!

  • I remember for my birthday, I was turning 5 or 6, my mom took me to toysrus and I got Barbie birthday doll. She had a beautiful gauzy dress and even came with a present for the birthday girl. I had lots of barbies but she was my favorite.

  • Amy W.

One of my favorite Barbie moments was when I got my first Barbie for Christmas.

  • I remember when I was about 6 and one of my friends mother sewed Barbie clothes and she said I could pick out any outfit she had, oh my she had a room filled! I spent forever trying to decide. I picked out this beautiful ballgown and I can remember playing with it and thinking my barbie was the coolest! It was big deal for me to have any other clothes than the one the Barbie came with.

  • I remember when I got my “Peaches N Cream” Barbie as a child. I thought I was the coolest girl on the block it was such a beautiful doll.

  • My favorite Barbie memories are literally spending ENTIRE days from after breakfast until bedtime playing Barbies with my sister. In the summer we would even take them and their camper and houseboat outside to play. Another favorite memory was that my mom would play with us for a few hours oftentimes too! Barbies were one of our favorite toys!

  • Ohhh I HAD to share this favorite Barbie memory too, it was awful at the time but now it’s something we all look back upon and LAUGH and LAUGH. When I was 5 I took my favorite Barbie everywhere with me. We had rented a cottage on the lake in Michigan and I was playing in the shallow water and letting my Barbie float and go swimming with her swimsuit on, suddenly a seagull swooped down and picked her up and started flying across the lake with her, I was screaming and crying so hysterically that my dad and uncle put me in the motorboat and was chasing after the seagull, (are they awesome or what?! LOL) at one point the seagull dropped her in the water and we all felt a surge of hope, but then he swooped back down and picked her up before we could reach her and then he made it to the other side of the shore and flew out over thge woods so I lost her to a seagull for good.

I used to play Barbie a lot at my friends’ houses!

This is my story: My daughters (26 years old) have always loved Barbie Dolls, my oldest daughter had a giant suitcase full, that she would carry with her just about everywhere that she went, even for a might at grandma’s house. My youngest daughter, which is (8 years old) has so many barbies that they fill every room in the house and she is always asking her father and I to play barbies with her. But my favorite memory is when my 13 year old grandson was staying with me 3 months ago…and he wanted to play with my daughter’s barbies. So, she put one in his hand, then, he ran his fingers through her hair, real gentle, then he starred at all her face features…eyes, nose and then he starred at her mouth….then he smiled real big..as if she was smiling back at him…is was so sweet..he just melted granny’s heart. 😀

  • Paula Caudill

Correction…my grandson is 13 months, not 13 years…sorry…silly me..;) lol

  • Michelle C

My grandma helped me learn to sew by practicing making clothes for Barbie! I hadn’t thought about that in years. My daughter is just not getting interested in Barbies, so I know she would love this. Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Becky Cole

I remember taing Malibu Barbie to the beach with me and hoping i would tan like her, lol!

  • Camilla Wilson

My neighbor used to make me the most beautiful Barbie clothes.

  • Jenny Bilderback

I remember my mom giving me one of her Barbies to play with – she had given it a hair cut so it had a nice short pixie cut 🙂

  • Ysenia Ramirez

I remember playing barbies still when I was 14.I would make furniture out of small bath towels!

  • JoeyfromSC

Oops wasn’t paying attention and accidently clicked on friday giveaway linky thing. My cousins had a ginormous barbie collection because their mother was one of 16 kids and sort of toward the end middle of the pack, so all of the barbie gear that their older cousins outgrew got passed down the line and added on, I had such a blast with them playing with it all, they had a camper, pool, shower, car, working motorcycle, wedding chapel set, and tons of clothes, accessories, barbies, kens, etc. So fun! I think the only thing they didn’t have was the barbie dream house! I liked the airplane stewardess barbie set the best with the cute outfit, luggage, etc. And when they outgrew the barbies they got passed down to the next girl cousin(s) the right age. I can’t even imagine how big that collection is now!

  • Summer

My favorite memory is my Barbie dream house. It was huge. It even had an elevator. I recently found out my mom kept a lot of my Barbies but sadly not the dream house.

  • Tiffany S.

My fave memory was when me and my bestfriend in the 5th grade used to go into the basement where my Barbie dollhouse was and we would sit there for hours upon hours giggling and gossiping with our Barbies. We had such a vivid imagination to where we would create birthday parties, concerts, and field trips. Oh how I miss those days. Sadly, my bestfriend moved away the next year, but to this day I still have a Barbie she left behind. I plan on passing it on to my precious niece. I’m glad I have her in my life now to remind me of my childhood.

  • My absolutely fondest Barbie moment was when my late Mommy gave me the Thai-collection Barbie and my sister the Filipino-collection Barbies as gifts. My Daddy is Thai, and Mommy was Filipino.

My fondest Barbie moment with my 3 girls is when we got 2 different kinds of prayer hijabs (head to toe modest clothing for prayer; one Arab style, another Far East style) and abayas (full-length typical Arab jackets) and prayer rugs all hand-made from Africa, the Middle East and Indonesia; for the girls.

It’s so encouraging to have the ethic mixes, clothing and accessories to make every girl feel proud of their unique upbringing and make up. 😉

my favorite Barbie memory is going to Grandma’s house and playing with her barbies. She had a huge collection of dolls that we were not allowed to play with, but a box of barbies that we could.

My fav memory was waking up as a child & seeing my barbie house! I’ll never forget it! I did the same for my lil girl & she adores her barbie dream house 🙂 I couldnt have been happier then to make that wish of hers come true as did mine.

Good luck to all, what lil girl wouldn’t go crazy for that barbie camper 🙂

  • I loved Barbie. I remember my mom had a friend whose daughter was in highschool and she was too old for her Barbie stuff. She ended up giving it all to me! I got the airplane, the car, and like 4 cases of Barbie clothes. It was awesome. I wish now I had saved it for my daughter. She has 3 Barbies already and loves to play with them. Thank you for the chance. What a great Christmas present.

I have such fond memories playing with my barbies. One year for Christmas I rec’d a barbie doll hair salon & would spend hours giving barbie the spa treatment. Back then perms were “fashionable” so you know how long that could take lol. I still have it actually & hoping my little one gets as much enjoyment as I did (along with the horse & canopy bed).

  • My favorite Barbie Memory of all time has to be playing with my entire Suntan Barbie Clan, Ken, Barbie, Francie, and Skipper, in the camper. I had two older sisters so hand me downs was my first name =) I played for hours taking the entire family all over my imaginary town ~ we also had the pool, townhouse, and Ballerina Barbie complete with stage. My mother let me sell it all at a garage sale when I was in going into high school before an out of state move. To this day I miss them ~ simply because now my daughter adores Barbie and I love to play Barbies with her as much as she loves to play Barbies too =)

  • My sister and I used to fill the Barbie pool up all the time and make are barbies go swimming. not my mother’s favorite activity of ours.

  • Amanda

My oh my was I a Barbie fan!! I would play with my Barbies every day!! I remember having a Barbie limo, it was white! I remember I lost my baby Barbie dolls and couldn’t find them when we moved. About 2 months after we moved, I heard something jiggling inside of that limo. I got to the inside and realized that my baby barbie’s had fallen in there and had been there the whole time! It was like getting a new toy all over and I could go back to playing mama barbie to the baby barbies! 🙂 That was a great feeling! 🙂 I still have those barbies to this day! This camper would be great to add to the collection for my little one when she gets older! 🙂

  • kimberly velkovski

  • My favorite Barbie memory was Christmas morning coming downstairs to my beautiful Barbie house! It was one of my best Christmas’s as a child!

  • Stephanie

Loved the clothes, the amazing town house, the corvette – played with Barbies way past the targeted age group! I have this camper on my girls wish list for Christmas already!

  • Kathy Davis

In the 1950s If you had a Barbie, you only had one. Mine was a bubble cut Barbie. My favorite memory is going to the dime store with my mom to buy a new outfit for my Barbie. We made a lot of outfits together too. I still have my Barbie and all her her clothes. She is still in excellent condition for a girl her age!
