  • Julie

I would nominate my friend Sandy. She is a 3rd grade teacher in a school that has many needy children. She goes above and beyond for these kids. Many can’t afford basic supplies, and she helps buy for them using her own money. She is also always volunteering her time at the school. She is such a great teacher and very confident at what she does. For this, many at the school are asking her to apply for principal here. Outside of the classroom she shows her generosity also. She has 2 biological children, 1 adopted and 2 foster children that she’s had for almost a year. These two are 4 and 5 and Sandy has worked so much with them, and treats them as if they were her own. It’s amazing how far they’ve come being with her. They came from abusive parents and now they are so happy and thriving. Sandy has a lot going on in her busy life, but she’s always there for friends like me, to offer her honest advice or to help when we need anything. She’s a wonderful person, a true dragon for sure!

  • Bretta

I nominate my husband of 26+ years…he is the most honest man I know. His integrity amazes me. He also doesn’t have strangers in his life…his bold willingness to talk to people and find ways to relate to them Is something that has always been missing in my own life. He is one of those “good Samaritans” too, who will drop everything to help someone in need or hurting…a heart full of compassion and mercy.

  • Bretta

Sorry….contact info is brettastar1 /at/ windstream :dot: net or @breaduh on Twitter

  • I have to nominate my husband for this. He is the most generous dragon I have ever known. He works very hard to take care of his family and to make sure we are happy. He has always put his own needs last and put the needs of others first…not just his family, but friends, co workers and even the occasional stranger. He has often come home late because he stopped when he saw someone who was broken down and needed help…especially if it a woman. He always says…I would want someone to stop and help you if I couldn’t be there. So he definitely wins the prize for generous dragon in this household. Thank you for the chance.

the dragon in my life is my boy, we are from a small place in the middle of the sea and my boy has never been to the mainland ever! 8yrs ago he joined the military. He has come in #1 in all their events. 10k runs (he runs against all military and foreign soliders.) He was in the all army ufc team, He recently tried out for special forces and he got accepted. He has been to Iraq 3x for 15months straight no R&R. What tops it all he is an only son! I told him he doesn’t have to go Iraq because he is an only son, but he wanted to. WE are in awe of this kid! He makes us so proud as I write this I have tears thinking of this boy that we raised what a special heart he has so brave and fierce. I would love to win the special dinner with our dragon, but more I am just so proud to write about our son, that I feel we are winners already. Good Luck all!
