I would love to be able to use this with my niece. My sister and brother-in-law are the hardest working people I know and both lovers of the outdoors. They don’t have the opportunity to get out much with my niece and another one on the way at the end of May.

This would be such a great way for me to take my niece on hikes so her parents can catch their breath. And then they can use it to introduce their newest little guy to the beauty of the outdoors.

  • My husband and I are avid backpackers and are expecting our first child in August. While trekking with babies can be a challenge, we are willing to make the commitment to continue our outdoor lifestyle so our daughter will grow up with the same appreciation of nature that her parents have. We plan to start out with some smaller weekend backpacks in the Eastern Sierra and a snowshoe or cross country ski trip now and then too. We’ve had our eyes on the Osprey Poco Plus ever since we found out we were pregnant, as I am in love with the Osprey Aura 65 and 35 packs that I currently use on multi-day trips.

Some of our favorite trips together have been a six day hike over the High Sierra Trail ending with a summit of Mt. Whitney and a more recent ten day hike from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland over the Swiss Haute route. See our photo website to check out the dozens of other hikes we’ve done together. We cannot wait to share these special places with our daughter and show her how magical and amazing nature can be. Please pick us and we promise our Poco Plus will be put to good use! Thanks Osprey!!
