Entenmann’s National Donut Day Twitter Party

PastedGraphic-10 (2)There is no better time to enjoy a delicious donut as a treat than on National Donut Day! Celebrated on the first Friday in June, National Donut Day was established by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the “Donut Lassies” who served these treats to the soldiers in World War I and helped raise needed funds during the Great Depression. Today, The Salvation Army continues their tradition of service by providing outreach to many facets of the community.

Entenmann’s and The Salvation Army are rolling out the red carpet this National Donut Day to celebrate 4 years of partnership. Entenmann’s debuted their new Red Velvet donuts just in time for this delicious event!

Through June  30th, Entenmann’s will be donating $1 to The Salvation Army for each new Entenmann’s Facebook  fan (up to $30,000). Entenmann’s will also be rewarding lucky “fans” with ‘Free Donuts for a Year’ and additional prizes through the sweepstakes link on the Entenmann’s Facebook page.
