Everything You Need to Know.
Do you knit? If you’re like me you probably have several projects started, all piled into a ball in a bag or drawer somewhere. If you are able to knit a cap for a baby, then you are able to help save a life.
I chose Good Goes Caps for Good project to highlight today for the 30 Day Giving Challenge because when my daughter was born two months early, she wore donated knit caps every day for months. We still keep those caps as a reminder of how someone’s love for a child they would never know helped to care for our daughter. She also received hand made blankets, and she still sleeps with one of our favorites every night. It is such a simple gesture to knit a small cap while chatting with your husband in the evening or watching your favorite show, but the impact it can have is astounding.
Today’s 30 Day Giving Challenge Giveaway is sponsored by Just Eyewear. I have received two gift cards to donate to a family in need this holiday season and TWO (2) readers will also each receive ONE (1) $50 Gift Card to Just Eyewear. I have worn glasses or contacts since I was seven, and now that I’m purchasing those items myself, I understand the financial burden that eyewear purchases can be for a family. Hopefully with the financial drain of the holiday season upon us, this giveaway will be a welcome blessing for two fortunate readers.
1. Leave a comment telling me who you would purchase glasses for if you won one of the two gift cards.
