While countless bloggers support Compassion International year round with posts about their experiences sponsoring Compassion children and supporting other Compassion initiatives, September is a special time. All month long thousands of posts will be written, images will be pinned, tweets will be sent, and Facebook status updates will be posted, all with the purpose of releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name. And the result? Thousands of children will be sponsored.
As we head into the second half of Blog Month, we want to energize one another to continue to blog and bring sponsors to waiting children. Compassion’s goal this year is 3,160 newly sponsored children!

When: Tuesday, September 17th from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET
Where: #CompassionBloggers tag on Twitter
How: Follow Compassion’s @ShaunGroves and @brimckoy along with @ResourcefulMom, @Compassion and tweet with the event tag to participate.
