Friday Featured Giveaway: The Disney Princess Ultimate Dream Castle Review and Disney Princess Doll Giveaway

Over the next few months I am going to be partnering with Mattel to bring Resourceful Mommy readers a series of reviews and giveaway opportunities.  I’m thrilled that the first review is part of the Disney Princess series because not only are we huge Disney fans here, but my seven year old daughter enjoys playing with dolls in her room for hours.  I like to think that it’s because playing with dolls is fun, but I’m pretty sure it also has something to do with escaping from the rest of the family, especially her little brother.  There is just something magical for a little girl about time spent in the land of make believe, playing with her dollhouse.

We had the opportunity to review The Disney Princess Ultimate Dream Castle from Mattel.  The castle stands three stories tall and features rooms that are themed to Disney Princesses.  For example, Snow White has her own vanity, Jasmine has a magic carpet elevator, and of course Sleeping Beauty has her own bedroom.

This castle is a magical place, the type of home where Fawn might swing by from Pixie Hollow to visit Ariel while she lounges in her clam shell bathtub.

It also appears that this magical castle is the perfect place for a dog to stop by for tea with Lumiere and the dancing napkins!

We also had the chance to review two dolls from the Disney Princess Doll Assortment from Mattel, which features Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel and Tiana.  Having the actual Disney Princess dolls that match the themed rooms makes the castle even more fun.  My daughter has also enjoyed playing with the dolls using her other accessories such as her Barbie vehicles and clothes.

Tell me which room of the castle your little princess would love most, and two Resourceful Mommy readers will be chosen randomly from the comments to receive the corresponding Disney Princess doll.

This giveaway is open to U.S. residents and ends Friday, December 9th at 11:59 p.m. ET.  Product was provided for both review and giveaway.  All opinions are my own.

My daughter is in love with Belle, everything is Belle. She just loves her, but doesn’t love the movie, but I would suspect she’d still want her room.

My daughter loves watching all the Disney movies. This year my sister in law introduced her to the Barbie movies so she asked for her first Barbie. While shopping for that Barbie she realized that they had the Disney Princess’ and fell in love she saw the Castle and said oh mommy look It’s like a fairytale (shes 3 lol so cute). She said she really wanted the castle because she just loved the beautiful stairs and how the bathtub was a sea shell. She looked at the box for a long time and said this is the coolest thing ever. And now she also wants all the princess’ wow what a collection. I would love to get this item for her. Our family has been hit hard by this economy due to being in the construction industry. Anyways she really loves the Castle and Dolls and I know she would have endless hours of fun.

That bathroom area will be great for water fun time with my daughter. I can see her trying to put the whole thing in the bath tub .

My little girl would love Belle’s dining room. She loves to “cook” and have tea parties & has been begging for a castle this year 😀

My daughter would want to be Tiana at the top of the tower. She loves to climb be up high or hang on stuff. We love Tiana, (and we like all the others too lol) helping my daughter celebrate the first African American Princess. Another roll model to show my daughter that she can be and do anything she wants when she grows up. To show her she can grow up to be a strong independent woman but also a strong independent African American woman.
