Friday Featured Giveaway: Camp Barbie Camper

This week’s Friday Featured Giveaway is the Camp Barbie Camper (ARV: $83.97) available now at Walmart!

While I was very much a tomboy growing up, I was a huge Barbie fan. Β I had dozens of Barbies and remember sewing clothing for them, taking them camping with me, and creating endless adventures in the family room for Barbie, Ken and Skipper. Β I remember my Barbies riding horses and even driving a Corvette, but they never had a camper like this.

My favorite Barbie Memory of all time has to be playing with my entire Suntan Barbie Clan, Ken, Barbie, Francie, and Skipper, in the camper. I had two older sisters so hand me downs was my first name =) I played for hours taking the entire family all over my imaginary town ~ we also had the pool, townhouse, and Ballerina Barbie complete with stage. My mother let me sell it all at a garage sale when I was in going into high school before an out of state move. To this day I miss them ~ simply because now my daughter adores Barbie and I love to play Barbies with her as much as she loves to play Barbies too =)

My oh my was I a Barbie fan!! I would play with my Barbies every day!! I remember having a Barbie limo, it was white! I remember I lost my baby Barbie dolls and couldn’t find them when we moved. About 2 months after we moved, I heard something jiggling inside of that limo. I got to the inside and realized that my baby barbie’s had fallen in there and had been there the whole time! It was like getting a new toy all over and I could go back to playing mama barbie to the baby barbies! πŸ™‚ That was a great feeling! πŸ™‚ I still have those barbies to this day! This camper would be great to add to the collection for my little one when she gets older! πŸ™‚

In the 1950s If you had a Barbie, you only had one. Mine was a bubble cut Barbie. My favorite memory is going to the dime store with my mom to buy a new outfit for my Barbie. We made a lot of outfits together too. I still have my Barbie and all her her clothes. She is still in excellent condition for a girl her age!
