The Magic School Bus and the Climate Challenge: Review and Giveaway

About a year ago my daughter discovered The Magic School Bus series of books through Scholastic order forms she brought home from pre-school. Quickly our collection grew from one book to ten, and now Emma and Noah sit together as they decipher what the students are saying in the bubbles and guess where The Friz will take the class next. When I was asked to review the new hardcover book in the series, The Magic School Bus and the Climate Challenge, I knew it would be a fit for my family. In fact, my kids love this new book in the series just as much as the others, and it has instantly become a family favorite.

The entire Magic School Bus series takes a unique look at science and nature covering everything from spiders, to bees, to travelling to the moon. This is the first book I have read to my children covering the topic of climate change, and I am very impressed. Because climate change is a controversial topic, I was concerned about how to approach the topic with my children. They have had very thoughtful questions about the issue since we began reading the book, and I am happy that they truly are learning scientific facts while enjoying a beautiful book in a series that they love.
