While “parenting tips for the tired mommy” was a fun, tongue-in-cheek post to write, there are actually some fun strategies in there for the slacker mom in all of us.

Through my work with Global Influence (formerly the Momfluence network), I have had the opportunity to spread the word about many important issues, but one issue that I found especially compelling was child passenger safety. With such wonderful and free resources available, no parent should feel the need to bypass important child passenger laws.

KidzMed Thermofocus – This thermometer has saved the day countless times this year. I still recommend it whole-heartedly.
Pledge Multi-Surface – I don’t know what’s in here, and I don’t want to know. All that I care about is how easy it makes cleaning, which is my least favorite thing to do in the world.
Yanni Voices – Not only did I thoroughly enjoy seeing this live performance, but I continue to listen to the CD over and over again. Even my five year old daughter loves them, especially Nathan’s operatic charms.
Netflix – When the free trial ran out, we signed up for more movie goodness!
