Disney Dreaming: Disney Dream Quick Facts

Over the last couple of days, I have been learning all about the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Lines fleet of amazing vessels, and while I will have many more images and videos to share with you next week, I wanted to give you a taste of all that the Disney Dream has to offer…

Comfortable Staterooms

Ranging from the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah to the cozy inside stateroom with plenty of room for three or four guests, each stateroom on the Dream has been sprinkled with pixie dust.  For example, guests with inside staterooms will enjoy a Magical Porthole giving them a real-time view of the ocean and a visit from a favorite Finding Nemo friend…

Youth Clubs

Whether you’d like your little ones ages three months to three years to spend some time in the It’s a Small World Nursery, your kids ages three years to ten years wish to play in the Oceaneer Club and Lab, or your tweens and teens just want to get away from you at Edge or Vibe, there is something for kids of all ages to do separately from their parents.

Dining

The dining options on the new Disney Dream are remarkable ranging from the Adult Exclusive Remy to the magical Enchanted Garden all the way to the indoor/outdoor casual dining of Cabanas.  And don’t miss the dinner show at Animator’s Palate!

Entertainment

Not only will you enjoy character greeting times on the Disney Dream, but guests may also enjoy first run movies and digital 3-D films in the plush Buena Vista Theatre or enjoy Broadway-style Disney live shows in the Walt Disney Theatre.  I will be enjoying a show today and cannot wait to tell you more!

Pools

What’s a trip out on the ocean without a chance to get a little wet?  While guests can enjoy Donald’s Pool, Mickey’s Pool, Nemo’s Reef or the Quiet Cove Pool, the real excitement happens on the AquaDuck.  Guests riding the AquaDuck are propelled at high speeds through an acrylic tube traveling up, down, around…and OFF the side of the ship.  You’ll have to check back next week to see if I was brave enough to ride the duck…

So – do you think I tried it?
