Disney on Twitter

Last weekend while attending the Type-A Mom Conference I met Whitney from Juggling Mommy.  Whitney is a member of the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and a mother of four so we chatted for awhile about Walt Disney World Resort options for large families.  I originally thought it might be a good idea to update my post from last week about Disney’s new resort to include a link to Whitney’s Twitter page for more information, but instead I decided to ask everyone on Twitter the following question:

What Twitter user do you turn to if you have questions about planning a WDW vacation?

Many of the answers I received were familiar faces, but I was also excited to meet new Disneyphiles on Twitter!  These were Twitter’s recommendations:

@DisneyFoodBlog

@Zannaland

@AmandaTinney

@DisneyTravel Mum

@RadioCarla

@Travelwthemagic

@whithonea

@TheAngelForever

@oohamanda

@JugglingMommy

@ADisneyFamly

@JodiGrundig

@comedy4cast

@Unemployed_Mom

You may also wish to check out the following official Disney Twitter accounts:

@DisneyWeddings

@DisneyPhotoPass

@DisneySports

@DisneyCruise

@DisneyD23

@WaltDisneyWorld

@DisneyParks

Where do you go for all of your Walt Disney World information?

    My family has been vacationing in both Disneyland & Walt Disney World for years. When I need information, I turn directly to the source – Disney. I peruse their websites, blogs, and Twitter accounts, looking for anything that might interest me. I also turn to various third-party books that I pick up at my local bookstores. And if I’m feeling particularly sleuth-ish, I perform blanket Internet searches on various key words.

  • you know I can help rock the disney trip to FL anytime! like spend one night off campus at the Nickelodeon Hotel to hang with those characters too 🙂

  • One of the best things about travel with Disney or to a Disney resort is the amount of resources available to help you plan your trip. I can pull many Mom’s opinions on how to do Disney, or how to save at Disney or which rides to do first and when and where to find characters. I am a planner and I love that I am able to get the Disney DVD and then go on line and seek opinion from other mothers on twitter and on their blogs. It is truly an excellent source of information for Moms (and Dads too). I then pass on the information I have learned to the next Moms in our circle of family and friends. It’s a Disney pay it forward kind of thing.

  • Woot! I made the list! And I second @zannaland, she is the best of the best!

    Also, @theDisneyBlog is my fave for all things Disney!

    🙂

  • I agree, @TheDisneyBlog has tons of information. I also recently met @TripsByManny, a puertorrican living in Indianapolis who specializes in Disney. He booked my December trip, and is currently working on my itinerary!
