What happened next took my breath away. My children played nicely together with their Smooshies. They discussed which part should go where, and if the goal was silly, ugly, or normal. They took turns, they shared….they got along!
Now I don’t want to give the wrong impression and make you think that Smooshies are the toy to end all sibling bickering. This is the next photo in the series.
Despite the snatch and dash by my naughty three year old, the Smooshies proved to be a hit in our house with both boys and girls, pre-schoolers and kindergartners.
This toy is for you if…you like unique, fun, crafty toys. This is great for free-thinkers and kids who love to change things up often. I think it might also be a fun way to coax a child into thinking outside of the box and trying new things.
This toy is not for you if…you don’t like toys with removable components. Because the entire point of this lovie is to change up the arms, switch around the hair, etc., expect random body parts to be found around your child’s room. Some moms hate that stuff! If that’s you, back away slowly….. (I love that kind of thing, for the record)
Are you ready to try a Smooshies in your home? There’s a giveaway! One reader will win a basic Smooshies and parts set. To enter, simply leave a comment to this post telling me who is your favorite smooshie in your life! (my favorite smooshies are my kids)
This contest is open to all U.S. residents age 18 and older. This product has been provided through the One2One Network and their clients. Contest ends Friday, August 21st at 11:59 p.m. ET. Good luck!
