Mr. Potato Head – Toy Story 3 Giveaway!

This giveaway is closed.  Congratulations to comment 13, 186, 140, and 167 for winning.

Anyone who reads this blog regularly knows how much I love Disney…all things Disney…so it should come as no surprise that my family loves Toy Story 3.   I fell in love with the original Toy Story when it first hit the theaters and bought the VHS knowing I would some day have a family of my own.  Yes, we do still have a working VCR, and yes, we watch Toy Story often. When we heard about Toy Story 3 we were thrilled and marked the family calendar!  Watching the trailer on YouTube became a regular event, and when it was finally released, the whole family went to see it together.  While my kids sat transfixed, my mom and I tried to hide the fact that we were sniffling in the dark.

Our enthusiasm for Toy Story extends beyond the movies.  Two of our favorite rides at Walt Disney World were inspired by the Toy Story movies, and my children love to play with the toys from the movie.  They had previously collected Jesse, Woody, Slink, and Buzz Lightyear and often play Toy Story together using Emma’s piggy bank for Ham and Noah’s Monty Rex for Rex.

With the release of Toy Story 3 in theaters, there are even more great Toy Story toys available! My daughter and I chose the Space Shooter Target Game for my son’s fourth birthday in May, actually purchasing it the day it hit store shelves, and we’ve also had our eyes on some of the other Toy Story branded games. I’m most excited, however, to have added the classic Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads to our collection for when the kids play Toy Story with their other Toy Story characters.  We also were provided with the adorable Spud Lightyear and Woody’s Tater Round Up, Mr. Potato Head dressed up as our favorite characters, Woody and Buzz!
