This post is part of a sponsored campaign on behalf of Rack Room Shoes.
We’ve had a bit of shoe drama in our house over the last few months. Back in March we rescued a puppy from a foster home and quickly learned that her one vice is stealing shoes. Winnie doesn’t discriminate in her shoe thievery, just as happy to dig a flip flop out of the basket as a work day wingtip. With back to school approaching quickly, we’ve had to design a new strategy to keep Winnie girl from getting to the new shoes that are entering our home as we prepare for the big first day of school.
For many families, purchasing new shoes that fit quickly growing feet is part of the back to school shopping ritual along with school supplies and fall clothing. However, every year there are children who head back to school in ill-fitting or damaged shoes because they don’t have any other option.
Rack Room Shoes has partnered with Shoes That Fit to do their part to change this for children across the country. Shoes That Fit is a national non-profit organization that provides shoes to disadvantaged children. All of the funds collected by your local Rack Room Shoes stay local, benefitting the children in your community. The more money raised, the more resources available to purchase shoes for kids in your local area.
