Since I haven’t been able to run, I have begun to go for long walks in the morning after the kids go to school. Even on the hottest days, it is cool and quiet walking on the path through the park. Some mornings water from rain the night before still drips off of the leaves and on to me as I wind over the stream and around the trees. It is not how I hoped I would be spending my time on the jogging path, but somehow it has brought me peace.

I am glad you are finding peace. Sometimes our lives take us down different paths than we imagined, but it’s possible to find beauty down those new paths, too.
