Gamewright Games Giveaway – Easter Basket Ideas

My family loves Gamewright Games. We discovered them at our local toy store while I was pregnant with kiddo number two, and I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to hold Gamewright giveaways for very lucky readers in the past. When I find something that I love and works for my family, it is such a joy to get to share it with you!

Are you looking for some small gifts that are perfectly sized and priced for your child’s Easter basket? Here are my Gamewright favorites:

Ages 3+

Feed the Kitty This is the perfect first Gamewright game. My three and six year olds both enjoy playing it and can do so without adult supervision. It is a wonderful simple pleasure with no set-up and clean-up time. Unlike some games for three year olds, I actually enjoy playing Feed the Kitty with my children.

Ages 6+

Rat-a-Tat Cat This was the Gamewright game that started it all for us! We have been playing a modified version of this game for children six and up for some time, but now that my daughter is older we are able to follow the directions. My three year old son is able to play with just a little bit of help and has just as much fun as his big sister.

Say Cheese (product provided for review) – Say Cheese is one of the newest games from Gamewright and my family’s new favorite. My kids love games like Feed the Kitty and now Say Cheese that involve rolling dice and hoping for a good outcome. I hope this doesn’t speak to a future gambling issue, but in the meantime we’re enjoying Say Cheese! Giveaway!

Too Many Monkeys – I love that Too Many Monkeys is played in stages. You need to advance to the next level and no one wins or loses in one fell swoop. My children love the excitement of finishing one round first and then not knowing who is going to win the next round. Giveaway!

Ages 8+

BoochieWhile this game is for older kids, we are still able to play our own little kid version with our three and six year olds. In fact, everyone in the extended family loves Boochie, and we take it with us when travelling to visit my family out of state for summer picnics. When the kids are older I am sure that Boochie will replace Feed the Kitty as our hands down favorite.

Sleeping Queens – We do not fully utilize the math component of Sleeping Queens yet, but both of my kids love to play this game with just a little bit of help. My daughter would absolutely choose Sleeping Queens as her favorite Gamewright game, but my son loves it as well.
GIVEAWAY: Win Too Many Monkeys or Say Cheese!

One winner for each will be chosen from the comments below. To enter just tell me your favorite game from your own childhood and which game you would like to win. This contest is open to residents of US and Canada 18 years or older and ends Wednesday, April 7th at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Good luck!
